Communication is the KEY!

There are always disputes to as to which is the best way to market your product.

I have found that if you spend the time to get to know your clients or those who may purchase from you, then there is more chance that they will buy from you.

I spend a lot of my spare time online talking to people on social networking websites/ business networking websites and i get to know them.

It does take time but after a while you get to know more about them and also what they do and then you can find some way to incorporate your services in with what they do.

Recently, the team and I have been looking at how we can make the company websites search engine rating better and decided that we would also give a few tips for all those lovely people who are here, checking out our blog. There are many ways which you can improve your search engine rating and get higher in the search results.

There are a fair few people who believe that getting a good rating is quite simple.
It does take a little time; to get a good rating, you need to keep at it and try hard to make sure that you have some new content for the search engines.

Search engines love new content, and if you keep it updated regularly, search engines will come back and index your website more often, and over time, your website may be seen as a reliable source.

"Keywords"

The keywords you use for your website should be relevant to its content and what you do there.
Try to keep a few of the keywords in the:

1. Url
2. Meta Tags
3. Description
4. Alt Tags
5. Title
6. Header Tags (Not to many, though)
7. The Main Content

The above seven things are a must when placing keywords for your website.

"Link Baiting"

In order to help your website get higher results and to become more trusted, you need to do some link baiting.

You can give links back to other websites, in return, they will give you a link back to your website. (Try to choose sites which are relevant to what yours is about.)

Search engines like some Link Directories; but some can harm your rating, so be careful.

The best links that you can get, are one way links. These links are where you are not linking back to someones website but they are linking to yours.
This is good, as it shows that that website links your website/services and without there being a link back from your website. It shows that they trust you and that there is not exchange.

One way links are liked alot more by search engines. The search engines trust these types of links more.

Do you have faith?

There has always been controversy over which companies you can trust and which ones you should stay away from.

The other problem is for all those companies that are not that well known.

We do not tend to spend our proifts on advertising since it is not guaramteed. Instead, we give free upgrades, free bits and pieces and more out of the profits.

We are not that well known, and that is why we do not have that many clients but we are looking to expand and make our services more well known through out great clients.

Issues with Google Chrome?

There already seems to be some controversy surrounding the new Google Chrome Broswer which was released on Tuesday 2nd Septemeber 2008, @ roughly 2PM (USA Mountain Time.)

Talk have been made about the lack of privacy that the browser holds and also about what the EULA said before it was amended by google.

Google gets perpetual, exclusive rights to all content you submit, post or display on or through Chrome

It has been shown that every install of Chrome gets a unique ID, when a user logs in to their Google account (using the Chrome browser), the account is then linked to the Chrome installation. (Which to me does seem a little privacy stealing to me)

The one thing that worries me, is if i am online and entering secured websites, can google really see what i am doing?

It has been a little while since we have had any new clients.

Our business does not seem to be well known by many people, so not many people will come to us.

I am looking to expand the business further, so that we can grow and help more people.
We also have a free reseller program, which other people can register too for free and sell their own website hosting and get paid for it.

Submission for review

I recently found a great new website whilst i was online.
I was on The Webmaster Forums, where i came across a welcome post with an interesting website there.

I checked it out and i was taking to http://www.webservertimes.com/ ; the webserver times.

The Web Server Times, provide Online Webmaster Newsletter's & Tools for Web Design - SEO - Security - IT Hardware/Software & E-Commerce.

I have contacted them and await a message back to see whether or not they will review our company.

Google to release new web browser - Dubbed "Google Chrome"

I have been online looking round for some interesting articles and WOW!, i found out that Google are releasing there own web browser. It has a sleek new interface and some great features.

There has been alot of talk around this new browser, what it holds for the future and also what it can do.

Google Chrome is meant to be availible from 2PM, i have been looking about and checking some of the time zones, i know that many are getting frustrated about it not being downloadable yet,
